RV Towing Benefits

• AAA Premier® — Receive one 200-mile tow per cardholder per membership year, and the remaining calls up to 100 miles per membership year.
• AAA Plus® — Receive four calls per membership year, up to 100 miles each.
• Classic — Receive four calls per membership year, up to seven miles each.

When a vehicle cannot be started or safely driven, the vehicle can be towed to the independent contract station providing the service (no matter how far away) at no charge to the member.

A member must be present when the vehicle is delivered to a closed repair facility. Towing beyond the benefits described above is at the member's expense and may be subject to delay.

Rental Car Benefits

Auto Rental Assistance Program*

When you need a replacement vehicle because of mechanical breakdown or roadside emergency, AAA will help you arrange a rental car. Under this program, when you present your membership card, you’ll receive special discounts on replacement vehicles from preferred providers. It’s one of the easiest ways to rent while your vehicle is being repaired.

Additional AAA Plus and AAA Premier Car Rental Benefits*

In addition to discounted rates available through Auto Rental Assistance, AAA Plus members receive a complimentary one-car-class upgrade from any preferred rental car provider. The upgrade benefit must be used in conjunction with a tow. If the upgrade vehicle is not available, the member will receive the next higher car class, subject to availability.

AAA Premier Complimentary Rental Car* (with in-state tow)

If AAA tows your vehicle in Texas and you are stranded, ask us for help. We'll arrange a rental car for one day at no charge, from a preferred rental car provider. AAA Premier members are entitled to one complimentary one-day standard rental car per year, when the tow is one of four allowable Roadside Assistance calls. Service must be arranged through AAA and provided by a preferred provider. Members have up to 48 hours to request the rental, and are responsible for subsequent days' charges, upgrades, vehicle insurance, mileage, fuel charges, fees and taxes.

Once the one-day complimentary rental is used, AAA Premier members are entitled to discounts on rates plus a complimentary one car class upgrade. If an upgrade vehicle is not available, members will receive the next higher car class, subject to availability. The upgrade benefit must be used in conjunction with a tow.

*Each AAA cardholder is entitled to four roadside assistance service calls or reimbursements per membership year. A service charge will apply for each additional service call after the fourth call. All rental car benefits are valid only in Texas. Rental car benefits must be in conjunction with an in-state tow, which is one of the four allowable Roadside Assistance calls. Normal rental qualifications, including age restrictions, and other restrictions apply. Rental Cars are subject to availability. Rates subject to change.

Emergency Fuel Delivery

AAA Premier and AAA Plus members are entitled, at no cost, to delivery of sufficient fuel to reach the nearest service station. Classic members must pay for the fuel. Diesel must be requested when you call for service and may not always be available.

Identity Theft Monitoring

Identity Theft Monitoring is a free benefit for AAA members. CreditCheck® Select includes one free online Experian® credit report (available for 30 days after enrollment), free daily monitoring, free email alerts when key changes are detected, and free fraud resolution support. AAA Premier members also receive $10,000 in Identity theft insurance provided by Virginia Surety Company, Inc., when enrollment is completed.

CreditCheck® Select is provided by ConsumerInfo.com, Inc., an Experian company. To be eligible to enroll in and receive this free benefit, you must be 18 years of age or older and a current member. After you enroll, if for any reason, you decide to cancel your CreditCheck® Select benefit, you may not re-enroll in this free benefit at a later date. Vehicle Locksmith Service

When AAA members lock their keys inside their vehicle, a service provider will attempt to gain entrance. If a locksmith is required, expenses are fully covered.

In event of lost or broken keys, keys locked in the trunk, or other lock-related emergencies, AAA will assist the member in locating a locksmith. AAA will also provide up to $60 for parts and labor when locksmith services are required.

AAA Plus members receive up to $100 and AAA Premier members up to $150 for parts and labor when a locksmith is required.

Reimbursement of Charges
When it is necessary to pay for service at commercial rates, request an itemized receipt listing the member's name, vehicle, and services rendered. For reimbursement consideration, present or send the original receipt and an explanation of the circumstances to any AAA Texas office within 60 days of the date of service. A reimbursement counts as a Roadside Assistance call.

Reimbursements for services, including those outside of Texas, will only be considered for services for which AAA Texas normally does not charge.* (Exception: Locksmith service will be reimbursed up to $60 with a Classic membership up to $100 with a AAA Plus membership or up to $150 with AAA Premier.) Reimbursement is not provided for taxi fares, telephone calls, rental cars, etc.

Members will be reimbursed for covered services at the prevailing commercial rates when AAA service was requested from a AAA club, but the membership could not be verified. Reimbursement will be issued upon subsequent verification that the member's valid membership was in effect at the time of service.

Partial Reimbursement
Only partial reimbursement, limited to the amount AAA Texas would have paid an independent contract station to provide the service, will be made when AAA was not called to provide service. When towing is covered by an automobile insurance policy, the maximum refund of a tow bill will be limited to the amount AAA Texas would have paid an independent contract station to provide the service.

Vehicle History Reporting

As a Classic or AAA Plus member, you are entitled to a 20% discount on the purchase of vehicle history reports. AAA Premier Members are entitled to one (1) free report per household per membership year. To order a free report, please call AAA Premier services at 1-877-426-8644. Subsequent reports are available to AAA Premier members at a 40% discount.

Journey Magazine

Members automatically receive Journey Magazine, AAA's bimonthly travel magazine, at no cost. Written expressly for members, Journey, takes you to exciting destinations throughout your area and the world. You'll find out about upcoming cultural events in your area, music and stage performances, special events, art exhibitions and sports events.

Journey, is also a good source for information on AAA benefits and services, as well as the latest discounts on local entertainment, travel, and a variety of products and services. The magazine also covers insurance, legislation and automotive safety issues.

Notary Services are available (Monday through Friday) for most personal transactions at any AAA office. Pricing, per signature:

AAA Premier members receive Trip Interruption Protection while on planned auto travel more than 100 miles from home. If your trip is delayed overnight or canceled due to accident, mechanical breakdown, theft, illness, injury, natural disaster or severe weather, AAA will offer Premier members reimbursement up to $1,500 for meals and accommodations or substitute transportation. The Premier Vehicle Return Benefit provides a reimbursement of up to $500 to help you get your car back home, if an unexpected illness or injury prevents completion of your trip. Some conditions apply.

24 Hour Emergency Travel & Medical Insurance

AAA Premier members, while traveling on leisure 100 miles or more away from their primary residence, may call our dedicated representatives toll-free for emergency travel and medical assistance. (Not included with Classic.)

Assistance Includes:

**Emergency travel and medical assistance and Concierge Services are applicable only to planned leisure trips 100 or more miles from the AAA Premier member’s primary residence, which include at least one overnight stay and are not more than 45 days in duration. These services are available to AAA Premier members, as well as their spouses and unmarried dependent children age 21 or under who are traveling with the AAA Premier member. The member must purchase the AAA Premier service prior to the travel departure date in order to use these services. The information, referral, arrangement, ticketing and reservation services for Emergency Travel and Medical Assistance and Concierge Services are provided without charge, and the Medical Assistance and Concierge Services are provided without charge, and the AAA Premier member is responsible for all fees, expenses and other amounts charged by outside entities. AAA provides Premier members with comprehensive car buying assistance – vehicle make and model, specifications, special option configurations, and more. Once you decide, we help you locate your new vehicle, calculate monthly payments, provide trade-in values on your existing vehicle, inform you regarding factory rebates and incentives and even offer a free insurance quote.

Home Lockout

As a AAA Premier member, if you become locked out of your primary residence, you can receive up to $100 in locksmith services to pick or drill the lock to gain access to your home from the outside. Home lockout service is reserved for a AAA Premier member's primary residence in Texas only and excludes all other buildings or locked areas. The service provides up to $100 for the cost of re-keying, changing locks or making a new key only when the lock must be drilled to gain entry to the home or if keys are lost or stolen. Any charges in excess of $100, as well as all charges associated with any other residential locksmith services, are at the expense of the AAA Premier member. Home lockout service is limited to one usage per AAA Premier household per membership year.*

*Home lockout service is not transferable to any other person. The AAA Premier member must be present at the time of service. Identification and proof of residence is required. In the case of rental property, approval of the property owner may be required. Service is valid only in Texas. Service is subject to provider availability, and if AAA cannot provide service, the member will be referred to a commercial locksmith and will be reimbursed for covered service up to $100. Locksmith arrival time is based upon locksmith availability.
