Facilities that are identified as providing passenger car and light truck diesel maintenance and repair service have indicated a willingness to assist you with the maintenance and repair of your diesel vehicle. Due to the varied nature of service needs and a multitude of vehicle types, please contact the facility directly to confirm their ability to assist you and/or to schedule an appointment.

Test Only Smog/GSGR

"Test Only" smog inspections must be performed by facilities specially certified to perform them by the state of California. Facilities that participate in this program are identified with the official "Test Only Smog Check" sign on their premises. The state has also certified certain smog check "Test and Repair" locations to perform "Test Only" inspections. These facilities are identified as Gold Shield Guaranteed Repair (GSGR) locations and have a state-issued sign designating them as such.

Not all facilities are able to perform smog tests on all vehicles. Please contact the facility directly to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle tested and certified.

Show Your Card & Save^® at AAA-Approved Auto Repair Facilities

What is the Show Your Card & Save^® discount for AAA-Approved Auto Repair facilities?

Participating AAA-Approved Auto Repair facilities have agreed to provide a discount of 10% on standard parts and labor (up to a maximum discount of $50). Discounts cannot be combined. Participating facilities are identified in the AAA-Approved Auto Repair online listing. Offers are subject to change so call the AAA-Approved Auto Repair facility in your area to find out the actual discount being offered.

How does the discount work?

As a AAA member, you can receive a discount from participating AAA-Approved Auto Repair Facilities by verbally requesting your discount and showing your AAA membership card either at the time your service order is written or at the time you pay for the service provided.

Recreational Vehicle Service

Facilities that are identified as providing RV service have indicated a willingness to assist with the maintenance and repair of your RV. Due to the varied nature of service needs and a multitude of vehicle types, please contact the facility directly to confirm their ability to assist and/or to schedule an appointment.

Brake Certification

Certain vehicles (as designated by DMV or other state agencies) are required to have their brakes inspected, adjusted (if necessary) and certified by a licensed Brake Adjusting Station. Facilities that participate in this program are identified with the official "Brake Adjusting Station" sign. Please contact facility directly to confirm inspection criteria, their continued participation in this program and/or to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle inspected.

Vehicle Inspection Program

AAA-Approved Auto Repair facilities perform a comprehensive 86-point inspection on your vehicle that can help identify potential issues with your car before they happen.

For a moderate fee, certified mechanics will:

• Perform an extensive 86-point inspection of your vehicle using standardized inspection forms and procedures developed by AAA
• Inspect everything from the engine, transmission, suspension, drive axles and electronic system to belts, hoses and tires

Important VIP Details:

The inspection takes approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours to complete. Members can be assured that the same thorough inspection will be performed regardless of the AAA-Approved Auto Repair Facility location. Contact the facility directly for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Smog Check

All areas of Texas require Smog Check inspections when a vehicle ownership change occurs or when registered for the first time in Texas. Most areas also require testing every two years, at the time of registration renewal. Facilities providing smog checks can inspect, test, repair (if needed) and certify your vehicle. Facilities that participate in this program are identified with the official "Smog Check" sign on their premises. Please contact the facility directly to schedule an appointment to have your vehicle tested and certified.

Weekend Hours

Facilities open on Saturday and/or Sunday may or may not have all services available on the weekends so contact them directly to confirm availability of services or to schedule an appointment.

Free 38-Point Auto Inspection

Free 38-Point Auto Inspection includes: tire Inspection, battery inspection, inspection of vehicle lighting, and a comprehensive visual under hood inspection covering belts, hoses, fluids, filters, wipers blades and more. Coupon and AAA membership card must be presented at a participating AAA-Approved Auto Repair facility at time of inspection. Not good with any other offer or discount.
